When an email address or home page address gets too long, it causes the email address column to get too wide and scrunches the name and street address field. That is why some entries have "Click to email" or "Click for Home Page" instead of the actual address.

The Neighborhood Association also publishes a printed directory with street addresses and telephone numbers. The directory is updated annually and is distributed to new residents, is made available at quarterly meetings, and is periodically sent to all neighborhood residents. All information in the printed directory is obtained from publicly available sources and/or provided by residents. We will omit any listing from the directory upon request. If you do not have a directory and would like one, please contact a board member.

It should be noted that we scan the Lexington Herald Leader each Sunday for property transfers within the neighborhood. A signficant number of entries in the directory contain information derived entirely from this source. This is why some entries contain a name the resident doesn't go by, and no phone number. We attempt to send everyone a Welcome Packet containing a profile sheet on which these things can be corrected. These profile sheets don't always get returned to us, and we don't get the Welcome Packets out to everyone (such as folks who have bought a vacant lot to build on and the post office can't deliver to it.) That is why some entries are "incorrect".

Because of this procedure, it occasionally happens that an entry appears in our printed directory when the resident doesn't wish it to appear there. It is our policy to omit anyone from our printed directory upon request. You can contact any board member or email webmaster@andover.org.
